🚨 SADDLE BROOK MAN CHARGED IN BRUTAL ASSAULT ON CHILD, PROSECUTORS SAY

A Saddle Brook man has been arrested and charged with violently assaulting a child, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Victor M. Morales, 44, faces second-degree aggravated assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child after state child protection officials alerted authorities to suspected abuse last Wednesday.

According to prosecutors, the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding injuries to a juvenile. A joint investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office and Saddle Brook Police determined that Morales assaulted and injured the child in Saddle Brook.

He was taken to the Bergen County Jail and is awaiting a detention hearing in Superior Court in Hackensack.
