A “perfect” getaway gone wrong. 🚨✈️💥
What started as a daring escape ended in flashing lights, cuffs, and cameras catching every second. On July 17, 20-year-old Alvi Limani and his mother, Vilma Vneshta, were arrested at Miami International Airport — accused of trying to flee after a deadly illegal street race in New Jersey.
Prosecutors say Limani was behind the wheel in a high-stakes street race when he lost control, killing one young man and leaving another fighting for his life. Instead of facing the music, investigators claim he tried to slip out of the country.
Authorities allege his mother masterminded the getaway — booking international flights and plotting a quick exit from Miami. But before the wheels could leave the ground, federal agents moved in.
Now, Limani faces charges of vehicular homicide, aggravated manslaughter, and fleeing to avoid arrest. His mother is charged with obstruction for allegedly aiding his escape. Both are behind bars as New Jersey fights to bring them back to stand trial.
